Job summary

Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a Project Manager for Business Jets Maintenance Operations to oversee maintenance projects from planning to release to service, acting as the main liaison between customers and cross-functional teams.

You will manage schedules, resources, budgets, quality gates, and regulatory compliance, coordinating documentation and invoicing with Finance, while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or engineering, or a relevant related field.
• At least three years of experience in aviation project management, aircraft maintenance, aircraft operations or a comparable technical role.
• Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance and aviation regulations.
• Ability to manage complex, fast-paced projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, including knowledge of budgets, cost control, and financial performance metrics.
• Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project; experience with SAP, CMP, CAMP is a plus.
• Fluent English required; German or French is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from day one: lead business jet maintenance projects from initial work scope planning through to completion and release to service.
• Be the customer’s main contact: manage quotes, lead meetings, discuss scope, and ensure alignment throughout the lifecycle.
• Plan and manage execution: create and maintain schedules, manage resources, monitor progress, and keep the project on track.
• Handle changes and resolve issues: identify defects or scope changes, raise Additional Work Requests (AWRs), and address customer concerns.
• Coordinate seamless project delivery: lead cross-functional teams, coordinate required documentation, and support release-to-service.
