RHI Magnesita N.V. is seeking an Automation Engineer for PLC & UX in a hybrid setup at Hünenberg, Switzerland. You will develop robust control solutions, intuitive interfaces, and scalable architectures for products, machines, and integrated systems.

The role blends hands-on engineering with requirements engineering and technology evaluation, aiming for modular, reusable platforms deployable across regions and the product lifecycle. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

Degree in automation engineering or comparable technical field.
Practical PLC programming experience in industrial automation.
Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 and common PLC environments.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customers and sites.

Aufgaben

Develop PLC-based control systems for machines and process automation.
Design intuitive HMI and UX solutions for safe operation.
Define functional concepts and reusable software modules.
Translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Evaluate technologies and provide integration recommendations.
Support testing, commissioning and product lifecycle improvements.
