Nestlé Deep Tech Center in Orbe, Switzerland, is seeking an Associate Robotics Specialist to help identify, evaluate, develop and deploy advanced robotics and intelligent automation solutions across manufacturing. You will collaborate with project teams, R&D centers, engineering hubs, factories, pilots, labs, and partners to turn emerging technologies into scalable outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on robotics and automation experience.
• Experience with mechatronics, AI in industry, or advanced engineering projects.
• Experience with robotics integration, end-of-arm manipulation, mobile robotics, machine vision, sensors or robot safety.
• Ability to use programming, data analysis, simulation, or digital twin tools.
• Strong collaboration, safety and quality focus.

As an Associate Robotics Specialist at the Nestlé Deep Tech Center, your mission is to help identify, evaluate, develop and deploy advanced robotics and intelligent automation solutions that turn emerging technologies into scalable manufacturing solutions. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with project teams, research and development centers, engineering hubs, factories, pilot plants, quality labs, suppliers, system integrators, universities and technology partners. How you’ll make an impact as an Associate Robotics Specialist

• Building and applying robotics expertise to unlock smarter, safer and more efficient manufacturing solutions.
• Scouting and evaluating emerging technologies that can become practical, scalable automation concepts.
• Supporting robotics projects from early opportunity framing through proof of concept, pilot and industrial deployment.
• Delivering work packages across requirements, design reviews, commissioning, start-up and qualification with a focus on quality, safety and reliability.
• Translating validated concepts into maintainable automation solutions that can be reused across different use cases and environments.
• Sharing knowledge, documentation and training content that strengthens adoption and builds robotics capability across our community.

What Will Make You Successful

• Bringing hands-on knowledge of robotics, automation, mechatronics, industrial artificial intelligence or advanced engineering projects.
• Applying practical exposure to robotics integration, end-to-arm manipulation, mobile robotics, machine vision, sensors or robot safety.
• Using programming, data analysis, simulation or digital twin tools to support robust technical recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborating across technical and operational teams with proactivity, autonomy, comfort with ambiguity and a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Communicating confidently in English and presenting technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences; French is a plus.
• Thriving in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven environment and being ready to move fast from concept to reality, while translating ideas into measurable impact
