Kroll is seeking an Associate Manager for Investigations, Diligence and Compliance in Zurich. You will oversee Swiss client engagements, guide a team, and ensure due diligence reports are clear, accurate and well-structured.

The role emphasizes English report writing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate across multiple high-risk investigations while collaborating with diverse teams. This is a full-time Zurich-based position.

Qualifikationen

  • Knowledge of financial crime, compliance, economic or related fields is required.
  • Strong English writing skills are required.
  • Reading comprehension in another language (German, French, Arabic or Russian) is beneficial.
  • 3–5 years of experience researching and writing reports in English.
  • 1–2 years of experience managing client relationships is preferred.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degrees, especially in the social sciences, are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset are important.
  • Ability to summarize information from multiple sources into concise analytical assessments.

Through a combination of in-depth subject matter expertise, global research capabilities and flexible technology tools, the Investigations, Diligence and Compliance practice helps clients take a risk-based approach toward meeting obligations or remediating failures regarding anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, financial crime and related regulatory mandates. These include pre-transactional intelligence; vendor, supplier and distributor due diligence; vendor management platform; leadership/executive vetting; sanctions screening and monitoring; country/industry risk; and bespoke inquiries.

As an Associate Manager, you will help to manage client relationships in Switzerland, as well as manage multiple complex research projects from start to finish. You will perform quality reviews on reports to ensure that the products produced by your team are accurate, complete and meet our high-quality standards.

Navigating Responsibilities:
  • Directly oversee engagements from Swiss clients, and meet client needs in a timely and satisfactory way
  • Provide direction and constructive feedback to team members to ensure the successful execution of work
  • Review due diligence reports to ensure that they are presented in a well-structured, logical and objective manner and that they address the clients’ central questions.
  • Manage multiple assignments from start to finish, conducting in-depth research using public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources and the internet
  • Effectively manage resources including on-the-ground human sources, ensuring protocols are followed and costs are monitored and accounted for accurately
  • Analyze research findings, synthesize relevant information, and draft high-quality, objective reports
  • Support marketing initiatives by attending networking events.
The Ideal Candidate:

Professional knowledge of financial crime, compliance, economic, political or related fields is required

Extremely strong English-language writing skills are required

Native or equivalent proficiency in reading comprehension of another language is beneficial, particularly German, French, Arabic, or Russian.

3-5 years of experience (including relevant internships) of researching and writing reports in English

1-2 years of experience managing client relationships preferred

Undergraduate or graduate degrees, especially in the social sciences, are preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail

Desire to work in a collaborative environment

Ability to quickly and effectively summarize information from multiple sources into concise analytical assessments

Ability to understand, accept and apply constructive feedback

Customer-service orientation with a dedication to quality

Availability to work a full-time schedule with the understanding that additional hours and weekend work may be required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
