Job summary

Swissquote is seeking a Compliance Officer for a temporary position through 30 December 2026. You will join the Compliance Department and work within the Investigations Team, handling reviews of key clients from AML/CTF perspectives and performing enhanced due diligence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, 3–5 years of financial services compliance experience, fluent English and French, strong analytical and writing skills, and a collaborative, multicultural mindset;

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French; prior experience in financial services compliance preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills; structured, professional approach.
• Experience with data analysis (Excel) and presenting findings (PowerPoint) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF concepts and Swiss regulatory framework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reviews of key clients from AML/CTF standpoints (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB).
• Conduct enhanced due diligence analyses and declassifications.
• Draft formal compliance assessments and manage multiple complex cases.
• Provide support and advice to the front office and management.

As a Compliance Officer for a temporary position until the 30th of December 2026, you will be part of the Compliance Department and work within the Investigations Team. The team is growing, andwe are looking for different types of seniority profiles whose main tasks will be:

• Carrying out reviews of key clients (private clients, companies, institutional clients,external asset managers, introducing brokers, etc.) from an AML/CTF standpoint (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB)
• Conducting enhanced due diligence analyses and declassifications
• Drafting formal compliance assessments, including the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
• Providing support and advice to the front office and management

Depending on the level of seniority, the following tasks may also be required:

• Assisting the Manager in supporting the team daily, including providing responses to questions, conducting second-level reviews of team members' assessments, and serving as a trusted role model in terms of work quality, efficiency, and professional behavior
• Assist in developing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations and industry best practices
• Optimization of internal processes, including the review and drafting of internal guidelines

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, preferably in Law, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or similar
• 3-5years of financial services compliance experience
• Knowledge of the Swiss legal framework
• Excellent command of English and French
• Analytical and methodological approach
• Structured and professional working style
• Interest and experience in data analysis (including Excel) and PowerPoint
• Excellent writing and communication skills
