VF Corporation seeks an Associate Data Scientist in Stabio, Switzerland, to focus on demand forecasting for fashion and retail across brands and markets. You will build models addressing product and store levels and support planning processes.

You will work with senior mentors to grow toward end-to-end ownership, applying state-of-the-art time series methods and generative AI concepts while collaborating with data engineers, product, and merchandising teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field and around 1–2 years of experience in data science and forecasting.
• Experience in fashion, apparel, or retail forecasting is a plus.
• Strong Python with data libraries and experience building time series models.

Responsabilidades

• Build forecasting models at product, size, store, channel and market levels across brands and channels.
• Contribute to cold-start forecasting for new products and markets with no sales history.
• Benchmark and productionize time series models including zero-shot and foundation-based approaches.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, Product, Planning and Merchandising to drive adoption and present results clearly to stakeholders.
