Job summary

SBM Offshore seeks an experienced Machinery Supervisor to lead the operation and maintenance of offshore machinery systems, ensuring safe startup, shutdown, and continuous reliability. You will manage engineers, technicians and subcontractors, upholding safety, training, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include planning, delegation, effective communication, and maintaining pollution controls, with a strong focus on operational excellence and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• EOOW STCW Reg AIII/1 qualification or 3+ years' experience as Maintenance Operator on FPSO/FSO.
• Proven supervisory and safety leadership in a busy machinery space.
• Experience in planning, delegating tasks and supervising technicians and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of machinery systems and utilities.
• Guide and train personnel under supervision.
• Develop safe work practices, incident prevention and emergency response.
• Coordinate with Central Control Room and other units during operations.
