Zusammenfassung

Ennismore in Zürich is seeking an enthusiastic events host to coordinate and manage bookings for the 25hours Hotel Zürich West and Langstrasse. You will work with our team from early morning until late, ensuring every event runs smoothly and meets hotel standards.

Fluency in German and English and a passion for hospitality are essential. You will translate menus, prepare quotes and invoices, and maintain strong relationships with guests and internal departments.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a similar events role in hospitality.
• Strong guest-facing communication and hosting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Aufgaben

• Look after event guests, coordinating with your team from early morning until late.
• Coordinate events with internal departments and ensure clear information flow.
• Translate menus and event/sales documents (German/English).
• Handle group enquiries for 8+ rooms.
• Prepare quotations, contracts and invoices.
• Prepare forecasts, reports and sales analyses.
• Attend internal meetings.
• Serve as point of contact when the manager is absent.
• Create training and rota schedules.
• Maintain customer relationships and support sales activities.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards and QA in events.
• Enter bookings, draw rooming lists and prepare for check-in.
• Conduct on-site customer meetings and follow-up calls.
• Organise site tours for event and corporate clients.
• Prepare for each shift and tidy up afterwards.
• Keep a clear overview when hotel is fully booked and hectic.

Job Description

How does your working day looks like ...

• You’ll look after our event guests – working closely with your team from early morning until late
• You’ll coordinate events with all internal departments and ensure that everyone has all the necessaryinformation
• You’ll be responsible for translating menus and various event and sales documents (German/English)
• You will be responsible for all group enquiries for 8 rooms or more
• You will be responsible for preparing quotations, contracts and invoices
• You will prepare forecasts, reports and sales analyses
• You will attend internal meetings
• You will act as the point of contact for the team in the manager’s absence
• You will draw up training and rota schedules
• You will actively maintain customer relationships and support sales activities
• You will ensure compliance with hotel standards and quality assurance in the events department
• You will enter bookings into the system, draw up rooming lists and prepare everything for a seamless check-in and stay
• You conduct customer meetings on site and follow these up with telephone discussions.
• You organise tours of the premises for event and corporate clients
• You prepare for each shift and ensure that everything is tidied up afterwards
• You keep a clear overview, even when every room in the hotel is booked out and things are getting hectic
