Job summary

The SSI Group is seeking a strategic Lead Merchant EMEA – Portfolio Brands (f/m/x) focused on Armani within our luxury brand portfolio. You will shape regional product and assortment strategy, partnering with Global Brand teams, Sales, and Demand Planning to drive financial growth across the EMEA region.

Based in Basel in a hybrid capacity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and lead key account discussions to ensure market-aligned assortments and strong brand performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive merchandising experience in fashion, accessories, or consumer goods, preferably luxury.
• Deep understanding of Armani and portfolio brands and their market positioning.
• Strong knowledge of regional luxury retail dynamics across EMEA.
• Ability to analyze sales performance, trends, and KPIs to drive decisions.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams and global/regional partners.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product assortment planning and lifecycle management for portfolio brands in EMEA.
• Collaborate with global brand teams and regional partners to tailor assortment to markets.
• Represent Armani in key account meetings and drive local market adaptation.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on product selections, inventory targets, and promotions.
• Develop region-specific merchandising tools and sales insights for regional teams.
• Support trade shows, events, and retailer engagements to maximize brand visibility.
