Job summary

MoleSense in Lausanne Biopôle is seeking an early-career Aptamer Scientist to lead the development of next-generation aptamer technologies for hormone sensing. The role includes SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, aptamer validation, binding assays, and performance evaluation, while collaborating with the biosensing team to advance technology and IP.

Qualifications

• PhD, postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in aptamer development, SELEX, post-SELEX optimisation, and aptamer-based sensing assays.
• Strong understanding of molecular recognition, affinity, specificity, stability, and DNA nanotechnology.
• Excellent experimental planning, data analysis, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

About the role
