grape is seeking an applied ML engineer / data scientist to build predictive models on real, regulated health data. You will own problems end to end, from effective-dated records to production, in a domain where accuracy and responsible use truly matter.

Starting points include pricing, risk, claims patterns, triage, and fraud detection. This role focuses on model development, governance, and collaboration with actuarial and compliance teams in a Zurich-based hybrid setup.

Formación

• Applied ML and statistics for real-world insurance data.
• Experience with imbalanced outcomes and real-world relational data.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML stack.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full model lifecycle from feature engineering to deployment and drift monitoring.
• Deploy models on grape’s cloud platform with data residency and security in mind.
• Identify and prioritize high-value use cases from the data and articulate measurable modelling goals.
• Ensure privacy, fairness, and explainability by design with governance alignment.
• Explain model behavior to cross-functional teams including underwriting and compliance.
