Zusammenfassung

Grapehealth in Zürich is seeking an applied ML engineer / data scientist to build predictive models from real, regulated insurance data, owning end-to-end development from features to production with a focus on accuracy, governance and responsible use.

You will work with Python, SQL, MLOps, and explainability techniques (SHAP), collaborating across underwriting, actuarial, and compliance, in a hybrid setup with our Swiss health data platform.

Qualifikationen

• Strong applied ML and statistics: supervised/unsupervised learning, time-series, survival modelling.
• Proven experience building models on real-world, relational data, including imbalanced outcomes.
• Fluent Python and SQL, with solid validation and explainability (SHAP).
• Production MLOps: experiment tracking, versioning, drift monitoring.
• Sound judgment on data privacy and modelling.
• Fluent English.

Aufgaben

• Build and validate models.
• Own the full model lifecycle: feature engineering, training, evaluation, explainability, deployment, and drift monitoring.
• Backtest on historical data and run models in shadow mode with governance.
• Produce audit-ready validation and governance documentation for review.
