Job summary

Georg Fischer in Switzerland seeks a seasoned professional to own the Product Labeling and Product Data Solutions (PDS) operations across 10 production sites. You will ensure reliable labeling processes and serve as the primary link between production plants, IT teams, and external partners.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Label Frontend landscape, governing changes and releases, driving global availability of the PDS platform, and supporting rollout projects with vendors.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education with several years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Product Labeling, PIM, and PDM processes ideal.
• Experience in application support and service operations.
• Experience managing external vendors.
• Strong project management and IT rollout experience.
• Fluent English and German ideal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of the Label Frontend (LFE) landscape with technical support.
• Manage and document system changes, enhancements and releases.
• Ensure global availability and reliable operation of the PDS platform and related applications.
• Support Label Frontend rollout projects and participate in Fit-Gap analyses and testing.
• Act as primary contact for production plants regarding labeling processes and solutions.
• Coordinate and oversee external suppliers and service providers in labeling activities.

In this fascinating global role, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, support and continuous improvement of the Product Labeling environment and Product Data Solutions (PDS) platform across 10 production sites. The role serves as a key interface between production plants, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, ensuring high-quality labeling processes and product data management across the organization.
