Georg Fischer seeks an Application Consultant for Product Labeling to support the labeling environment and PDS platform across production sites. You will be the key interface between plants, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality labeling processes and data management.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education combined with a few years of relevant experience in a similar role and environment.
• Ideally knowledge of Product Labeling, PIM, and Product Data Management processes.
• Experience in application support and service operations.
• Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
• Strong Project management experience and IT rollout experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent English and ideal.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the Label Frontend (LFE) application landscape, including technical support to IT and business
• Managing and documenting system changes, enhancements and releases, ensuring knowledge transfers, etc.
• Ensuring the global availability and reliable operation of the Product Data Solutions (PDS) platform and related applications, including continuous improvement
• Supporting Label Frontend roll-out projects and participating in Fit-Gap analyses, testing of new systems, coordinating issue resolutions, etc.
• Acting as the primary contact person for production plants regarding labeling processes and solutions, ensuring timely resolution of open issues
• Coordinating and overseeing external suppliers and service providers involved in labeling-related activities

In a big organization like with tens of thousands of different products, efficient product labeling is no small task. In this fascinating global role, you will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, support and continuous improvement of the Product Labeling environment and Product Data Solutions (PDS) platform across 10 production sites. The role serves as a key interface between production plants, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, ensuring high-quality labeling processes and product data management across the organization. The role offers a mix of strategic and operational tasks and is ideal for somebody who is able to balance both and enjoys the complexity of the task.

Your main tasks
