Job summary

Novartis ARD is seeking a motivated Analytical Scientist for a two-year temporary assignment through Magnit Global, onsite in Basel. You will develop and validate analytical methods for drug substances and products, with emphasis on Radioligand Therapy (RLT).

You will work with cross-functional teams to execute experiments, document results, and advance LC-MS/LC methods. English fluency, strong peptide knowledge, and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Life Sciences with ≥2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with analytical methods and separation techniques (UHPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis).
• Strong analytical knowledge of peptides.
• Ability to develop new analytical approaches and adopt new tech.
• Good knowledge of chromatography software and ICH guidelines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical methods for RLT drug substances and products.
• Plan, execute, document, interpret and report experiments per timelines.
• Contribute to RLT analytical toolbox with LC-MS and related tech.
• Participate in scientific exchanges and present findings.
• Troubleshoot methods and instrumentation with scientific rationale.
• Maintain lean, efficient, and sustainable lab practices.
• Meet quality standards and timelines across projects.
• Ensure good documentation and lab practices in all activities.
