Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking an experienced leader to establish and grow an airborne software engineering team in Switzerland. You will oversee development and verification activities for certified aerospace systems, partnering with HQ and certification authorities.

You will mentor engineers, ensure DO-178C compliance, and drive delivery across the software lifecycle in a fast-paced, regulated environment. On-site role with permanent possibility after interim period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Extensive experience in software development within a regulated environment.
• Leadership of multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English (C1+); Italian knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow the airborne software team.
• Act as the primary software focal point across HQ.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead development and verification activities.
• Define tasks and mentor software engineers.
• Ensure compliance with aviation standards, processes, budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, program management, and external partners and suppliers.
