Job summary

Artefact is a next-generation strategy and data consulting firm with a Zurich/Lausanne focus, helping clients transform through data and AI. We are seeking an Engagement Manager to lead AI strategy delivery at clients across Switzerland.

You will work at the intersection of strategy and data delivery, guiding complex AI initiatives, shaping technical design, and managing cross-functional teams of consultants, data scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years across consulting and technology delivery, including at least one dedicated AI or data project.
• Strong dual affinity for business and technology. Understanding of modern data and AI concepts.
• Ability to discuss AI use cases and constraints with C-level stakeholders.
• Experience shaping the technical design of AI work and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in German/French and English; eligible to work in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Develop client AI/strategy programs with leadership teams.
• Break down complex problems into actionable decisions.
• Design data/AI solutions and the required architecture.
• Lead engagements end to end from hypothesis to roadmaps.
• Assess feasibility and economics of AI initiatives.
• Engage with C-level stakeholders and align with client goals.
• Lead mixed teams of consultants, data scientists and engineers.
• Contribute to practice development and new offerings.
