Job summary

Axpo Baden in Switzerland is seeking a backend/platform engineer to design and operate platform services for LLM routing, model access, and identity controls, ensuring auditable, compliant usage.

You will build secure deployment paths from repo to running apps, provide SDKs and documentation for product teams, and work with security and cloud teams to evolve agent-to-agent capabilities while keeping governance and cost in check.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production-grade backend or platform systems.
• Strong Python and API engineering with containerized deployments.
• Experience with IAM, secrets management and secure delivery.
• Interest in AI governance and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate platform services for LLM routing and model access.
• Engineer secure execution environments and safe defaults.
• Create reusable APIs, SDKs, and templates for product teams.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and business teams; shape platform roadmap.
