Job summary

Hero Group is building an AI Centre of Competence and seeks an AI Engineer to design and scale the enterprise AI foundation. You will craft Agentic AI Platform capabilities, govern access, and drive model selection, evaluation, and prompt engineering in a production setting.

You will work closely with data teams to connect AI solutions to governed data in Snowflake and implement robust observability, governance, and compliance across EU AI Act, GDPR, and related standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• At least five years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum two years building GenAI or LLM applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Hero’s Agentic AI Platform with reusable components.
• Build the MCP Gateway and integrate with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft 365, SharePoint.
• Develop Hero's AI Knowledge Base on Azure with ingestion pipelines and hybrid retrieval.
