Job summary

PROSTAFF Schweiz GmbH in Zürich seeks an experienced AI-Native Software Engineering Lead to modernize PDLC/SDLC with AI-powered coding agents and autonomous workflows. You will drive adoption, design agentic pipelines, and mentor teams across engineering, DevOps, and architecture.

You will implement AI-first processes with clear oversight, governance, and quality gates while delivering proofs of concept in complex enterprise codebases and collaborating with platform teams.

• Extensive experience in software engineering for enterprise systems.
• Hands-on with AI-powered development tools and coding agents.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and SDLC/PDLC adoption.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and mentoring skills.
• Experience shaping AI-first development workflows and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of AI-native software engineering within enterprise teams.
• Design and optimize agentic workflows using AI coding agents and automation.
• Automate requirements analysis, code generation, testing, reviews, and deployment prep.
• Integrate AI tools (GitHub Copilot) into existing environments.
• Transform SDLC/PDLC into AI-first processes with governance and gates.
• Develop proofs of concept and apply AI-driven automation to large codebases.
• Establish governance for AI-generated code, validation, traceability, approvals.
• Mentor engineers and conduct workshops to accelerate AI adoption.
