Job summary

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva is offering a 12-month AI Learning Associate traineeship to help upskill staff in AI. You will design and test learning activities, curate resources, and support AI-driven learning across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a relevant university degree, up to two years of experience, and strong English and French, with a humanitarian motivation and collaboration mindset. Start January 2027; salary CHF 3,934 paid in 13 installments.

Qualifications

• University degree in Learning Technologies, Information Management, Data Science, CS or related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent command of English and French; Spanish is an asset.
• Experience with advanced AI tools and prompt engineering for learning activities.
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI, Git and API-based AI integrations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, testing and organization of AI learning activities for staff.
• Curate learning resources and keep the digital skills channel updated.
• Moderate AI community and maintain knowledge management systems.
• Work with delegations to support local learning plans.
• Design and test personalized learning recommendations from user profiles.
• Analyze user needs and usage to support AI-assisted learning experiences.
• Collaborate with L&D, IT and other stakeholders to prototype and improve AI solutions.
