Job summary

ELCA in Switzerland is offering a six-month internship starting February 2027 in Pully to explore Agentic AI for financial controlling and management reporting.

You will analyze current reporting processes, conduct stakeholder interviews, design and prototype a data-driven financial investigation agent, and validate AI-generated analyses against expert assessments while documenting traceable explanations. The project aims to reduce lead times and enable sharper business partnering.

Qualifications

• Master student in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering or similar field.
• Interest in AI, Large Language Models, and agent-based systems.
• Programming skills (Python, Java).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in business analytics.

Responsibilities

• Process analysis of current reporting to identify bottlenecks.
• Literature review on Agentic AI and trustworthy AI.
• Agent design and prototyping to analyze data from multiple systems.
• Validation and evaluation against expert controller assessments.
• Recommendations and roadmap for industrializing AI-assisted financial investigation and reporting.
