Job summary

ICRC in Geneva offers a 12-month AI Learning Associate traineeship to upskill staff in AI. You will help design and deliver AI learning activities, curate resources, and support knowledge management and learning paths across delegations.

The role requires a university degree in a relevant field, up to 2 years of experience, and fluency in English and French (Spanish is an asset). Familiarity with Python, Power BI and Git is advantageous. Start Jan 2027.

Qualifications

• University degree in Learning Technologies, Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent command of English and French; Spanish is an asset.
• Experience with advanced use of AI tools and prompt engineering to support learning activities.
• Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language. Experience with Power BI, version control (Git) and integrating AI models into applications through APIs is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, testing and organization of AI learning activities for all staff, such as webinars, e-learning modules, workshops and reverse mentoring.
• Curate publicly available learning resources to keep the digital skills learning channel up to date.
• Support the moderation of the AI community and maintain other knowledge management systems.
• Work with delegations to support their local learning plans.
• Contribute to the design and testing of personalized learning recommendation mechanisms based on user profiles, skills, competencies and learning pathways.
• Analyze user needs, learning pathways and usage patterns to support the development of AI-assisted learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development, Information Technology and other stakeholders to prototype, document, test and improve AI-supported learning solutions.

Education

University degree in Learning Technologies, Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science or related field

Fluent English and French

Spanish language is an asset
