Job summary

Qiibee is seeking an AI-first Full Stack Engineer who owns backend services in Elixir with Phoenix, and frontend in React/TypeScript, to power partner APIs and dashboards across Miles & More, Etihad Guest, and more.

You will blend deep backend work with AI-powered workflows, from architecture to deployment, monitoring and improvement, ensuring reliable partner integrations and well-documented systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering, with 4+ years on the backend.
• 3+ years production Elixir with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP shipped and operated.
• Strong PostgreSQL with real SQL, transactions and performance tuning.
• Solid REST API design and background jobs (Oban) with retries.
• 3+ years React and TypeScript owning frontend features end to end.
• Experience in loyalty, travel tech, payments or FinTech industries.
• Fluent in English; AI-first mindset using coding agents daily.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Elixir services with Phoenix, APIs, workers and jobs.
• Build and evolve partner-facing REST APIs with versioning and webhooks.
• Work on money-adjacent systems: ledgers, balances, settlement and reconciliation.
• Own frontend features in React/TypeScript from admin dashboards to API UIs.
• Use Claude Code daily to accelerate development while reviewing outputs.
• Review code and ensure system correctness with thorough PRs and docs.
• Collaborate with product and infra on deployment, monitoring and security on AWS.
