Zusammenfassung

Join is seeking an AI-first Full Stack Engineer to own Elixir backend services, partner APIs, and React/TypeScript frontends. You will deploy and monitor systems across AWS, using AI tools daily to accelerate development and ensure robust, well-documented integrations with partners such as Miles & More and Etihad Guest.

You will design APIs, manage data flows, and own end-to-end features, collaborating with product and infra teams to maintain security and reliability in a fast-paced remote

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of professional software engineering with 4+ years on the backend.
• 3+ years of production Elixir with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP, shipped and operated.
• Strong PostgreSQL: real SQL, transaction semantics and performance tuning.
• Solid REST API design and background job processing with retries (Oban or equivalent).
• Proven experience in loyalty, travel tech, payments or FinTech industries.
• 3+ years of React and TypeScript, able to own a frontend feature end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of AWS (ECS, RDS, S3), Docker and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Fluent in English

Aufgaben

• Design, build and operate Elixir services with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP: APIs, workers and background jobs.
• Build and evolve partner-facing REST APIs with versioning and outbound webhooks.
• Own frontend features end to end in React and TypeScript for admin and partner dashboards.
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code) daily to move faster, while reviewing output.
• Review code substantively and ensure system correctness.
• Write clear PR descriptions, architecture notes, and updated docs in PRs.
• Collaborate on deployment, monitoring and security on AWS.
