Atinary Technologies in Lausanne seeks a scientist with a chemistry and cheminformatics background to join our AI research team. You will help build algorithms that power Self-Driving Labs®, combining ML, probabilistic modeling, and foundation models to enable production-ready lab analytics and autonomous experimentation.

You will work with AI scientists, software engineers, and chemists to translate research into robust, scalable components, benchmarking approaches and driving real-world impact

Qualifikationen

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Computational Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Excellent communication in English for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with molecular representations and cheminformatics tooling (RDKit or similar).
• Strong foundations in machine learning, with probabilistic modeling or optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Bayesian optimization, Gaussian processes, active learning, or experimental design.
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering practices for clean, tested code.
• Ability to translate ideas and papers into production-ready components.
• Sharp analytical skills for interpreting complex problems.
