Zusammenfassung

Pilatus Aircraft, based in Stans, Switzerland, seeks an experienced aerospace mechanical engineer to lead the design, development and certification of mechanical systems across our aircraft platforms. You will coordinate with global suppliers, drive tests and ensure DO-160/DO-254 compliance.

Fluent English is essential; German is a plus. The role offers a dynamic, international team and opportunities for advanced development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Proven experience in aerospace mechanical systems development, integration and certification.
Strong understanding of requirements development, traceability, verification and validation.

Aufgaben

Take ownership of mechanical systems across aircraft platforms throughout lifecycle.
Design, develop, qualify, and certify mechanical components and systems per DO-160/DO-254 standards.
Prepare technical reports, investigate issues, and support in-service aircraft operations.
Act as technical focal point for external suppliers and manage interface with vendors.
Support ground tests and flight test campaigns, aiding introduction of new developments into production.
Analyze in-service issues and define corrective actions for production and customer support.
