DMD Solutions, a consultancy specialized in aerospace design and RAMS engineering, invites a skilled Aerospace System Safety Engineer to join our Swiss team in Luzern. You will work on safety analyses and certification activities for client aircraft systems.

You will lead FHA, PSSA/SSA, FTA and FMEA efforts, ensure EASA compliance, and collaborate with propulsion, systems and certification groups. On-site presence is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Proven experience in civil aircraft programs.
• Strong knowledge of EASA certification requirements.
• Experience with FHA, PSSA/SSA, and FTA/FMEA.
• Willingness to work on-site.

• Lead and perform safety assessments for powerplant and fuel systems.
• Support engine integration activities from safety/certification view.
• Evaluate architectures and installations for EASA compliance.

As part of our expansion plan, we are hiring an Aerospace System Safety Engineer in Switzerland. Do you have a background in engine integration, powerplant systems and fuel systems and a desire to work on groundbreaking projects? If so, we want you to be part of our team! As a Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role ensuring that reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety objectives are met for our client products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute safety assessments for powerplant, fuel and related aircraft systems.
• Support engine integration activities from a safety and certification perspective.
• Evaluate system architectures and installations to ensure compliance with EASA regulations.
• Coordinate with propulsion, systems and certification teams.
• Develop safety documentation and certification artefacts throughout the aircraft lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering.
• Proven experience in civil aircraft programs.
• Strong knowledge of EASA certification requirements.
• Experience performing:
• Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA).
• Preliminary and System Safety Assessments (PSSA / SSA).
• FTA, FMEA and related safety analyses.
• Experience supporting aircraft system integration and certification activities.
• Availability to work on-site.
