Zusammenfassung

Pilatus Aircraft is seeking a Quality Management professional to lead supplier quality programs for aerospace components and drive continuous improvement across our supplier network.

You will coordinate root-cause analyses, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with EN 9100/ISO 9001. English fluency is essential; German is a plus, with travel 10–20% of the time.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; additional qualifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) are highly desirable
• Proven experience in Quality Management with strong expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 9S, as well as sound knowledge of relevant standards including EN 9100 and ISO 9001
• Professional experience within the aerospace industry, ideally in a Part 21G manufacturing environment
• Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams in a matrix or non-hierarchical environment
• Fluent in English language skills (C1), German is an advantage, with combined with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork abilities
• Strategic, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with willingness to travel internationally approximately 10-20% of the time

Aufgaben

• Drive the sustainable development of critical suppliers with a focus on product quality enhancement
• Monitor the product quality performance of assigned suppliers and initiate, coordinate, and manage quality improvement measures in response to critical or recurring non-conformities
• Lead root cause analyses and problem-solving activities in accordance with the 8D methodology
• Plan, prepare, and conduct regular Quality Improvement Reviews to assess the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions
• Perform targeted supplier site visits, including short-notice visits when required, ensuring thorough preparation and follow-up
• Ensure timely responses to critical quality issues to safeguard production schedules, manage relevant quality notifications, and contribute to the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) for serial production components
