Zusammenfassung

Amentum seeks an experienced AGE technician to support the New York Air National Guard LC-130, C-17, and other aircraft contracted by USA Antarctica Program. You will diagnose, repair and service ground equipment in field or shop settings, ensuring equipment is safe and ready for operations.

You will collaborate with NYANG and USAF personnel, perform line services as needed, and maintain meticulous records while working shifts including nights or weekends in a remote environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED.
• Four years of experience with diesel and gasoline engines, electrical/electronic and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to deploy to Antarctica and pass medical, dental, drug screening and background checks.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair aerospace ground equipment.
• Interface with NYANG and USAF personnel daily.
• Provide flight line services as required.
• Perform work orders or initiate new ones as needed.
• Ensure work complies with procedures and manufacturer specs.
• Routinely overhaul, repair or maintain gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and correct them.
• Inspect lift equipment for safe operability.
• Operate shop equipment and perform generator maintenance.
• Document work performed and maintain records.
