Job summary

Andermatt Swiss Alps AG in Switzerland is seeking an experienced finance professional to act as the first point of contact for accounting across our hotels, restaurants and outlets. You will coordinate day-to-day activities in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit and General Ledger, and steer month-, quarter- and year-end closings.

You will review balance sheet reconciliations, support financial statements under Swiss OR and USALI, and provide coaching to your team.

Qualifications

• Commercial apprenticeship or accounting qualification or comparable education in finance, accounting or business administration.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality or other service-oriented environments.
• Experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit and General Ledger highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating or guiding accounting teams; supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Confident use of ERP systems (SUN, SAP or Oracle) and Excel; experience with AP/AR automation (Yooz) and BI platforms (Power BI) advantageous.
• Familiarity with hospitality-specific systems (Opera PMS) and solid understanding of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and USALI.
• Analytical, accurate and solution-oriented way of working.
• Convincing communication and stakeholder management.
• German and English, one at native level and the other at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first escalation point for finance-related operational matters and bridge Operations and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls and procedures and identify process weaknesses.
• Drive standardisation, automation and system improvements and strengthen a culture of continuous improvement.
