On behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing Private Equity firm based in Zug, Swisslinx is looking for a hands-on and ambitious Accountant/Controller to join a collaborative, experienced team. This is a unique opportunity for someone eager to take ownership, make an impact, and grow professionally within a lean, high-performing finance function.
What You'll Do:
• Own and manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, fixed assets)
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Take the lead on VAT returns and assist with tax-related matters
• Partner closely with senior management and external advisors (auditors, authorities, etc.)
• Streamline and enhance internal accounting and reporting processes
• Contribute to controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll oversight
What You Bring:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland
• A solid educational background in finance/accounting; additional certifications (e.g. Fachausweis) are a plus
• Strong command of Swiss accounting and tax regulations
• Comfortable working with Excel and familiar with modern accounting/ERP systems
• Proactive, precise, and solutions-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Excellent command of both German and English
• CH/EU nationality or a valid working permit for Switzerland
