UBS is seeking ambitious students for a 6-month off-cycle Internship in our Global Wealth Management Business Risk Organization (BRO) in Zürich. You’ll work on risk controls, governance, and process improvements while learning from seasoned professionals.

Start date January or February 2027. You’ll gain exposure to UHNW and GFIW client services, collaborate across teams, and receive mentorship from senior leaders.

You’ll Get To

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management Business Risk Organization team in Zürich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients. The Governance and Frameworks team is part of the Global Business Risk Organization (BRO) for Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) and Global Family & Institutional Wealth (GFIW). We support the GFIW Business Head in managing their business within risk appetite, maintaining effective governance and risk framework, as well as perform UHNW & GFIW specific controls. Finally, we give expert advice on various risk aspects allowing the business to best serve the bank’s most sophisticated clients.

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than twelve months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), preferably with a focus on business, finance, economics, STEM or similar
• has know-how gained from experience in Business Management, Compliance, Risk or similar
• has sharp analytical and problem solving skills
• has a good command of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and is a fast learner when it comes to other IT software/programming language
• has excellent command of English (written and oral), any other language is a plus
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

Your program

This paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way.
