Qualifikationen

• Recent graduate within last 24 months in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• Degree completed with graduation requirements met by program start date
• No more than two years of full-time work experience
• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a MINT topic
• Values aligned with UBS: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• Motivated to work in a high-demand, deadline-driven business
• Evidence of how AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• Competitive Swiss GPA of 4.5

Your team

You’ll be working in the Group Technology Office based in Zurich. As part of a Transaction Monitoring solution team, you'll contribute to the global rollout and ongoing maintenance of our Transaction Monitoring solution. We shape and clarify business requirements and turn them into clear guidance for engineering teams. We work within an agile setup as part of a Scrum team.

Based on your interests and experience, you could be placed as a IT Business Analyst.

Your expertise

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
• has no more than two years of full-time work experience
• has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a MINT topic
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has solid technical foundations to understand application and relational/non‑relational database concepts, with an interest in writing database queries and learning the software development lifecycle
• is able to interpret technical and business requirements and contribute to robust solution designs
• has the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and work effectively with both technical team members and business stakeholders
• is able to prioritize tasks, assess information, make reasoned decisions and communicate your rationale
• has an appreciation of cultural differences and an interest in working in a diverse, multicultural environment
• has interest or initial exposure to Compliance, Regulatory or Governance topics is an advantage

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long, and designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of the Group Technology Office. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
