UBS is seeking ambitious graduates to join its 2027 Global Markets MTN Trading Graduate Talent Program in Zurich. The 18-month program introduces you to the firm, provides professional and technical training, and teaches core skills in global markets.

You’ll Get To

• support Market side Product origination of Private Placements
• act as market maker for illiquid financial instruments and on a large Structured Notes Portfolio
• develop and support automation for a large variety of business owned processes
• work closely with the Quants team to deliver meaningful business solutions for a scalable trading operation

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Markets business. We provide liquidity and valuation on an otherwise illiquid portfolio and do everything that’s needed to originate, buy and sell securities for them from start to finish. We work with Private Banks, pension funds, asset managers and family offices as well as Issuers in the Banking or Sovereign Agency space to provide coverage, advisory, capital markets and funding services.

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• is a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months), with studies ideally in the fields of Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related
• has fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date
• has no more than two years of full-time work experience and is fluent in English
• has prior experience or a strong interest in Capital Markets
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• has a proven track record of working on development and implementation projects, combined with coding skills
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of global markets. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network.
