Job summary

Novartis Pharma AG in Basel, Switzerland, offers a 2-year rotational program in TRD Biologics for recent Masters graduates in chemistry, biology, or engineering. You will rotate through Drug Product, Drug Substance, Device & Packaging, and Analytical Development, gaining hands-on lab and data-driven experience.

Each 6-month rotation embeds you in expert teams to develop bioassays, evaluate packaging modalities, characterize biologic drug products, and build Raman-based models for real-time

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology or engineering.
Fluent in English.
Hands-on lab experience with autonomous project handling.
Basic understanding of pharmaceutical development, including container closure systems.
Specialized skills in protein production, analytical methods, or programming/data modeling.

Responsibilities

Contribute to lab-based (80 %) and office-based (20 %) TRD‑biologics projects.
Conduct experiments and generate data for TRD‑biologics projects.
Document and present results related to project activities.
Collaborate with internal and external development partners and stakeholders.
Acquire an understanding of the TRD‑Biologics organizations and how units work together.
