What will you do in this job?

The Food and Beverage Cook will provide excellent guest experiences through the careful preparation and cooking of food items while offering friendly, professional interaction with all of our guests. The candidate will consistently work in a manner that provides a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, co-workers, and oneself. This position is based at Farm & Fire in Banff.

Responsibilities Include

• Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Pursuit.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
• Provides guests with exceptional service at all times.
• Follows operational policies and procedures.
• Ensures all areas of the working environment are clean and free of debris.
• Ensures that the work environment is safe and free of hazards.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Prepares foodstuffs in a manner consistent with recipes and health codes.
• Cooks food in a manner consistent with recipes and health codes.
• Performs cleaning and maintenance of work areas.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• Strong customer service skills.
• Some previous cooking experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• All employees must consent to a criminal record check to honor our commitment to being “Always Honest”.
