GardaWorld is seeking a compassionate and skilled Security Guard to join our Hospital team. As a first point of contact for patients, families and staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain transferrable skills for future careers in Law Enforcement, Corrections or for advancement within the security industry. Our hospital guards receive paid, sought after training and have the ability to move into senior roles directly on site.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate motivation for wanting to work in a hospital setting, be able to practice exceptional customer service at all times and be physically able to move to and address emergent situations in a timely manner.
Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/Hour
Schedule: FULL TIME continental rotation; two weeks days then two weeks nights.

Ensure the safety of people and property andkeeping the peace
Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients and visitors

Be able to work well in stressful and emotional settings
A valid Security Guard Licence
Previous Security Experience
Experience working with vulnerable populations
Have a clear criminal background
Be eligible to work in Canada
NVCI or Verbal Intervention Training an asset
