THE POSITION
The Operations Roustabout will support daily plant operations through routine labor tasks, safety checks, and logistical support. Typical tasks include supporting offloading chemicals and supplies, providing safety watch during vehicle entry or hot work, and completing regular weekly or monthly checks.
This is a full-time position with a four-day workweek, working 10 hours per day from Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities
- Performing regular site safety checks, including inspection of fire extinguishers, fall arrest equipment, eye-wash stations, safety showers, gas detectors, ladders, breathing air equipment, and first aid supplies to ensure they are available and ready for use.
- Conducting D-55 monthly tank inspections
- Assisting with scheduled deliveries and receiving bulk materials such as lube oil, glycol, acid, caustic, amine, and Flexsorb
- Escorting delivery trucks to proper locations and overseeing safe offloading procedures.
- Gathering operational samples for lab analysis (Amine, Flexsorb, and Glycol)
- Supporting routine daily operational tasks, including cleaning of cooling tower screens, fuzz screens, and the P-251 screen as required
- Participating in additional break-in or support tasks as assigned during the daily operations start-of-shift meeting.

- Valid H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG and First Aid Certificates would be an asset.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract).
- This role requires the candidate to wear respiratory protective equipment. As per Alberta OHS 250(2), the candidate must ensure an adequate seal where the face piece of the equipment seals to the skin of the face.
