Job summary
A healthcare provider in Banff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its multidisciplinary health care team. The LPN will provide holistic care and collaborate with team members to support patients and their families. Applicants must have a Practical Nursing diploma and current CLPNA registration, along with recent medical-surgical nursing experience. This part-time position involves various shifts including days, nights, and weekends and has a competitive salary range.
Qualifications
- Graduate from Practical Nursing program or equivalent required.
- Must be registered with CLPNA.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing within the last 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents.
- Work effectively as a team lead.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement.
