A local educational institution in Ontario is seeking a Temporary Indigenous Student Worker to support Indigenous student achievement and cultural programming. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Indigenous Education or Social Work, along with a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills while planning programming for individual Indigenous students. A commitment to cultural relevance and community engagement is essential. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive pay.
Job Title: Indigenous Student Worker (Temporary)
Job Type: Full-time, 10 months + 5 days per year, 35 hours/week
Location: Education Center
Salary: $28.94 to $32.15 per hour (Pay Band 9)

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (KPR) offers a world-class education for approximately 35,000 students in 87 schools.
