A leading appliance repair company in the Metro Vancouver area is seeking a technician to conduct repairs on electrical appliances. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, conducting tests, and advising customers on work performed. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months of relevant experience and a high school graduation certificate. This is a permanent position offering health benefits and team building opportunities.

- Ability to conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematic drawings for repairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct voltage and resistance tests using electrical test equipment.
- Diagnose faults using testing devices.
- Repair and replace faulty components in electrical appliances.
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
- Diagnose faults, using testing devices
- Repair electrical appliances and components
- Replace faulty components
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
