A distinguished organisation is seeking a Bid Manager for an interim role that may become permanent. The position offers flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in bid writing and the ability to manage a small, dynamic team. Responsibilities include overseeing the bidding process, ensuring the team understands bid criteria, and providing justification for bid decisions to the executive team.

Skills
A distinguished organisation is looking to take on a Bid Manager on an initial interim basis with the potential of the role going permanent. The organisation aims to help people flourish by providing accommodation alongside delivering safeguarding support, transportation services and repairs and maintenance to its customers.
This Bid Manager will have the flexibility of being fully remote but will need to have strong hands-on experience of bid writing as well as the ability to manage the small, dynamic team.
- Oversee the team looking at bidding for more contracts and increased volume won
- Ensure all the bidding team have a clear understanding of suitable bid criteria, so focus is on growth in key service lines (new and existing)
- Put together solid reasoning of what to / not go for and justify the reasoning to the exec team
- Follow on from processes now in place to coordinate what the team is working towards and report back on how the process is being tracked
- Can be a Bid Leader/Manager from any sector
