The First Nations and Inuit Youth Employment Strategy (FNIYES) supports initiatives to help First Nations and Inuit youth acquire skills, prepare for full-time employment, and earn income to support post-secondary education through summer work experiences.
The Marketing Assistant will serve as a key part of Six Nations Polytechnic's Marketing and Events Team in implementing their creativity and initiative to support SNP’s vision in education. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the ideal candidate will enhance their own competencies working with an esteemed marketing and events team in an energetic and innovative work environment.
The Marketing Assistant will receive direction, guidance, and encouragement, and discuss plans and priorities. The role requires maintaining respectful interactions, promoting professional courtesy, and adhering to a positive work environment. The Marketing Assistant is expected to perform duties consistent with SNP's governance values and operating policies while fostering positive relations with staff, students, stakeholders, and the community; contributing to a culturally supportive environment aligned with Hodinǫshǫ:nih / Rotinonhson:ni values of Ga’nigohi:yo / Kanikoriio (Respect and the Good Mind).
