Description

As a Marketing Manager at Photonic, you work with the marketing team to create, implement, and oversee marketing programs and materials that effectively describe our value proposition, company vision, technology, and service offerings to a variety of audiences. You are a self-starter and love the combination of planning marketing programs and rolling up your sleeves to execute on daily deliverables. You will be comfortable diving into innovative technology, working with technical subject matter experts, and producing content for our core audiences. You’re a skilled writer and you’ve never met a PowerPoint slide deck that you haven’t somehow made better!

Please note that this is a 12-14 month contract position.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
  • Creative Collaboration
    • Work with product and internal teams, graphic designers and contractors to deliver content, visual assets, and campaign materials
    • Create, edit and polish PowerPoint presentations for a variety of audiences
  • Events & Speaking Engagements
    • Lead logistics and execution for sponsorships, conferences, and speaking engagements
    • Coordinate presentation development and speaker support, including slide creation and messaging alignment
    • Collaborate with the team on strategic event selection and engagement planning
    • Coordinate and execute webinar program
  • Brand Management
    • Implement and manage the organization’s brand and style guide
    • Continue execution of brand deliverables, ensuring consistency across all channels and collateral
  • Digital & Content Marketing
    • Manage website updates including ensuring content is up to date and adding new resources and announcements
    • Own newsletter production (in HubSpot), ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand messaging and visual
    • Oversee daily social media content approvals and scheduling, maintaining consistency and quality across platforms
    • Support account-based marketing and analyst relations through content coordination and campaign execution
  • Marketing Operations & Project Coordination
    • Support the optimization of marketing systems including Teams, HubSpot, JIRA, and internal channels
    • Support smooth workflows, documentation, contracts, and knowledge management across marketing operations
    • Serve as a project manager for marketing initiatives, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
  • 5+ years of marketing experience within the technology industry, ideally in B2B or deep tech environments
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with Affinity or Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including writing and editing
  • Demonstrated success in executing marketing assets—messaging, positioning, packaging, and competitive collateral
  • Strong project and relationship management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience working with graphic designers and creative teams
  • Familiarity with marketing operations tools such as HubSpot
  • Ability to build partnerships and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn the basics of quantum technologies and the company’s offerings
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Bonus skill (not required): It would be awesome if you had graphic design skills!
