This is a multi-faceted position and can include any, or all, of the following:Assists Housekeeping team in all areas of daily housekeeping serviceManages Housekeeping, Host and Front Desk teams on Manager’s scheduled days off and all other times as requiredInspects the work of housekeepers, hosts and front desk agents to ensure that proper operational standards are met and maintainedAssists the Hotel Manager in maintaining quality control in all areas of the LodgeAssists the Hotel Manager in the control of stock & inventories of supplies and linens to ensure adequate supply levels are maintainedAssists the Hotel Manager in investigating all complaints/suggestions regarding all GVL services and takes appropriate corrective actionWorks closely with the Hotel Manager to submit rooms for check-in and reports of any room or guest issuesAssists Hotel Manager in organizing and providing training programs in accordance with the housekeeping/host/front desk standard proceduresEnforces all company policies and regulationsOther duties as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, front desk and or hotel operations requiredA positive, helpful, team-oriented, inspiring, cooperative attitude to all aspects of the jobEnjoy working autonomously and independentlyCurrent Alberta Pro Serve Certification (Required)Process information quickly and take initiative to recommend solutions to challengesStay cool under pressure by being resilient, adaptable and flexibleOrganization and time management skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this position!Previous cash handling, hotel front desk, hotel night auditing experience, assetsAbility to think outside the box with quick, thoughtful judgement and a positive attitudeAble to perform assigned duties with a high level of attention to detail, speed, consistency, follow through and under minimal supervisionAble to lift 50 pounds (suitcases, laundry bags and mail)Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiencesEnjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environmentExceptional guest-service skills and a friendly, approachable, interactive natureGuest service-oriented mindset and highly attentive to detailSeeking mature, energetic, dependable candidate that is self-motivated with little supervisionVery important: must be flexible to work mornings, evenings or night shifts as requiredMeets the Pursuit grooming policies and standardsWhat will your work environment be like?:Beautiful.
