A leading electrical utilities company in Hay River seeks a Journeyperson Power Lineperson to join their Transmission Distribution Operations division. Responsibilities include construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution systems, performing repairs, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates must have Journeyperson certification with at least 3 years of experience, along with a Class 3 driver's license. The role offers competitive pay between $50.05 and $60.81 per hour, along with additional benefits and relocation assistance, if required.
Participates as a member of the Transmission Distribution Operations division and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.
This position is based out of Hay River, NT, however routine work area encompasses all communities in the South Slave and Taltson Hydro site. May be assigned to support any of NTPC’s service areas including the Beaufort Delta, Dehcho / Sahtu, North/South Slave, hydro sites and remote transmission lines.
Please note this is NOT a fly-in/rotational position -- it does require the successful candidate to relocate to/live in Hay River, and must be willing & able to travel throughout the regions.
Salary for this position ranges from $50.05/hr - $60.81/hr, plus location allowance of approximately $3,823 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes Health and Dental Benefits, Life Insurance, paid Sick Days and a Defined Pension Plan. Relocation assistance may be provided.
