Nestled off the coast of Northern California and deep in the Redwood forest, Sonoma Zipline Adventures is high adventure and completely unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Our Sweep Guides are charged with the consistent delivery of world-class customer service to guests while Zip-Lining between platforms in trees at speeds of up to 40mph and heights of up to 250ft off the ground. As part of Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds, our Guides also contribute to the recreational, educational, spiritual and social objectives of our Christian mission. Full and Part-Time opportunities available.

Descriptions of Duties

including but not limited to:

  • Manage risk at all times, taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
  • Engageguests and staff with a humble and cooperative attitude
  • Participate in pre-screening guests
  • Ensure guests are properly fitted in gear and oriented to zip lining
  • Assist lead guides with pre-tour and post-tour set-up and clean-up
  • Regularly inspect facilities for cleanliness and readiness for guest use
  • Participate in rescue scenarios, training, and actual guest rescues
  • Drive guest shuttles
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Dependable and responsible and able to take directions as needed
  • Work at heights up to 250ft off the ground
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, and/or rain)
  • Able to hike 100 yards uphill without assistance and lift and carry loads of up to 50lbs a distance of 50 yards over uneven terrain
  • Weigh between 75 and 250 pounds per engineering safety specifications
  • Able and willing to wear a helmet, harness and gloves, and follow rescue procedures and processes (training is provided).
Requirements
  • Must pass a background check upon acceptance of employment offer
  • Complete and pass a 6-day, 40-50 hour training week. Attendance is REQUIRED all day each day, no exceptions.
  • Current Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (training provided if needed)
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
  • Must be available on weekends and holidays.
Compensation
  • $17.00 - $18.00 / hour, depending on experience.
