Job summary

WildPlay is seeking an Element Guide to lead guests on suspended obstacle and zipline courses, delivering outstanding service in outdoor settings.

The role requires an outgoing, confident personality, the ability to work with guests of all ages, and a commitment to safety. Prior experience in outdoor recreation is an asset, and successful completion of Element Guide training is required.

Qualifications

• No formal academic qualification required.
• Knowledge of adventure recreation is an asset.
• Successful completion of Element Guide training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and engagement.
• Ensure safe, positive guest experiences.
• Teach and assist guests with safety equipment.
• Check fit and use of equipment before/during participation.
• Report incidents to Team Lead or Park Management.
• Report equipment or Element malfunctions.
• Assist with site maintenance and grounds-keeping.
• Enforce Element rules and risk management.
• Learn and apply guest assistance/rescue techniques.
• Be a positive team member and take on extra tasks as needed.
