Job summary

Paradies Lagardere is hiring a Part-time Retail Sales Associate in Vancouver. You will greet, assist, and thank customers, driving sales while maintaining store appearance and following safety procedures. The role requires POS transactions, product recommendations, and adherence to loss prevention standards.

Expect to work diverse shifts in a fast-paced airport retail setting. Minimum one year of retail experience is preferred; a Canadian background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and English communication.
• Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and applicable FAA/DOT requirements.

• Efficiently and accurately complete any required process controls (paperwork, etc.).
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Understands and complies with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
• Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable FAA requirements Department of Transportation requirements.
• Computer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores, early morning, evening and weekend work and holiday.

Pay: $18.25/hour - Part- time

This position will require a Canadian Criminal Records Check (CCRC). This piece of documentation is a background check of your criminal history and can be acquired at your local police station. Are you willing to acquire a Canadian Criminal Record Check to work at the airport in this position?
